A phrase coined by Professor Howard Gardner of Harvard University, ‘multiple intelligence’ is a model that began evolving in the early 80's. To help you incorporate it into your training courses we are summarising each one with tips on the sort of characteristics to look out for and types of exercises to include.

Remembers what was done rather than what was said or observed
Plays around with objects while listening

Typical statements:
“I find it difficult to sit still for long periods of time”
“I often like to spend my free time outdoors”
“I need to touch things in order to learn more about them”
“I need to practice a new skill by doing it rather than simply reading about it”
“I engage in at least one sport or physical activity on a regular basis”
“I like working with my hands”
“I enjoy dare-devil amusement rides”
In your training delivery incorporate such exercises as:
Mentally review while swimming or jogging
Take lots of state changes and breaks
Clapping, jumping, stamping, climbing
Use models, machines, Technic lego, and handicrafts
Integrate movement into all areas
Use drama, role-plays
Use dance and movement
Act out the learning
