This workshop will excite, inspire, and inform your leaders. We show you how to identify and adapt leader behaviours, developing a partnering process through developing more effective communication and coaching skills, and obtaining a commitment to work toward common goals. To consistently achieve high levels of individual or team performance requires leaders who can direct, support, coach, counsel, and inspire.

Employing the basic principles of experiential teaching methods, accelerated learning techniques, and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), participants will learn to increase their own learning speed and will have ample opportunity to practice exceptional leadership skills in active, challenging yet practical exercises.

Limelight

This practical 1-day workshop provides participants with a simple structure and valuable skills for speaking confidently in public, learning the secrets of preparing and delivering powerful presentations on any subject to diverse audiences and in a variety of situations. 

As well as covering the presentation basics, this course will employ the Oddball principles of efficient 'brain-friendly' learning techniques and instruct delegates on how to use these same principles to not only get their message across, but also make it stick in the minds of their audience.

This course can be a one-day, two-day, or three-day workshop depending on the number of delegates.

Problem Solving with Action Learning

Action Learning is a facilitated, problem solving process that could be described as group coaching. It can be profoundly useful and developmental, especially with ‘sets’ (groups of between 5 & 7) that meet on a regular basis.

It is intended to produce action (results in the workplace) and learning (individual development) outcomes. It breaks down the boundary between learning and doing in the real world of work.

You know it’s action learning when:

·        The group are working in an agreed, methodical way

·        There is only one issue-holder at a time; the others are asking questions designed to help them understand their issue

·        The issues are not clear-cut – they are dilemmas or ‘stuck’ situations.

 

You know it’s not action learning when:

·        Different people are talking about their own work issues at the same time

·        Questions are in fact disguised advice e.g. “have you tried ….” or “do you think it would help if you …”

·        You hear people giving advice based on what they did when it happened to them

·        People are using the time to get advice or quick answers

·        The conversation drifts into chat, sympathising, comparing war stories, gossiping, or philosophising about the organisation

Drumbeat

Samba

Choose from either African drumming or Brazilian samba!

We can help address issues such as team-building, employee relations, leadership skills, motivation, change management, assertiveness, and acclimatising new managers. We have even used the drum circle as part of a recruitment process, as a way of identifying people with appropriate interpersonal skills!

The group size can be from 10 up to 500 participants, and with our experienced facilitators we ensure everyone has a part to play.  Give it a go, it could be just what you're looking for!

Key Symphony

Are you giving your keyboard two fingers? By now famous, this is the fun way of learning to touch-type.  It's a workshop for people who use keyboards but cannot type. On this one-day workshop you memorise which fingers use which keys, and to type as you look at the screen. It's a fun and interactive day!
